Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm on Monday as Opposition MPs continued demanding Home Minister Amit Shah’s presence in the House to speak on last month’s police action on students protesting against NEET paper leak.
The members of the Opposition also raised slogans against alleged theft of donations at Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
As the House resumed for Question Hour at 12 noon, Power Minister Manohar Lal stood up to respond to questions on various energy-related issues. However, Opposition parties, led by the Congress, continued raising slogans, disrupting House proceedings.
