In a bid to familiarise, orient and motivate the newly inducted officers, Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Sh. Naresh Singh-JKPS, today chaired an introductory meeting with the newly posted Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) at the Conference Hall, District Police Office (DPO) Kishtwar.
At the outset, SSP Kishtwar formally welcomed the new PSIs into the Kishtwar Police team, congratulating them on successfully entering the next phase of their policing journey. He briefed them in detail about the present security scenario, demographic sensitivities of the district, deployment pattern of police establishments , militancy trends and the core values of policing.
SSP Kishtwar also emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, dedication, and public-oriented policing, guiding them on how to deal with the general public in a professional and compassionate manner while maintaining strictness against criminal and anti-national elements. SSP Kishtwar urged the officers to act as responsible representatives of police department, ensuring transparency, accountability, and service to the people.
On this occasion, Dy. SP Headquarters Dr. Ishan Gupta-JKPS presented an in-depth PowerPoint presentation outlining the demographic profile, current law & order and militancy scenario, crime trends, and key upcoming events and challenges. The presentation helped the new officers gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic significance and operational challenges of the district.
The meeting was attended by SP PC Kishtwar Sh. Nissar Khoja-JKPS, SHO Police Station Kishtwar Insp. Firdous Ahmed, IC Cyber Cell SI Moin Khan, and other senior officers and officials of the district police.
