PM_ to inaugurate various development projects in Srinagar today

He’s also set to lead the International Yoga Day celebrations in Srinagar, officials told KNS.
During his J&K visit PM Modi will be inaugurating major development projects related to road infrastructure, water supply schemes, and infrastructure in higher education etc. in the state. His visit is intended to “empower the youth and upgrade the infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir”. He’ll also attending an event dedicated to youth empowerment in the state.
PM Modi shall also celebrate International Yoga Day celebrations and address the gathering in Srinagar.
On June 20th , The Prime Minister is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 84 development projects worth over Rs 1500 crore in Jammu and Kashmir at around 6 pm.
In addition to the inauguration ceremonies, the Prime Minister will also launch the Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) valued at Rs. 1800 crore.
Chenani-Patnitop-Nashri section, which aims to improve connectivity and facilitate smoother transportation in the region is also scheduled to be inaugurated during the day’s events.
