The 15-day-long IEC campaign under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan continued on its fourth consecutive day in District Kishtwar.”
Today’s camp was held at Panchayat Chicha, Block Nagseni, District Kishtwar, aimed to provide awareness and ensure saturation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes among the tribal community.
The event saw active participation from the tribal community, reflecting their interest in availing government services delivered at their doorstep.
On the occasion, BDO Nagseni, Sh. Abhilash Sharma (JKAS), delivered an insightful address, highlighting various government welfare schemes tailored for the upliftment of tribal communities.
Highlights of the camp also included informative stalls set up by various government departments, including Agriculture, Health, ICDS, Social Welfare, Revenue, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Fisheries, and others, showcasing and providing on-the-spot benefits of flagship schemes, especially for tribals.
Various activities included raising awareness about DAJGUA, distributing IEC pamphlets, promoting awareness of the PMAY-G survey, CS schemes, PMJAY, and Ayushman Card, as well as the on-the-spot distribution of caste certificates, domicile certificates, and more.
The main focus of the camp is to provide doorstep delivery of government schemes to tribals for their upliftment, enabling real-time grievance redressal, identifying critical gaps, and fostering deeper engagement.
Tribals of the area expressed gratitude for the initiative, hailed the government’s commitment to grassroots empowerment, and pledged their continued cooperation throughout the campaign period.
