Srinagar, December 29 – Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a video conference with all MLAs to address the pressing issues of heavy snowfall and prolonged power outages in Jammu and Kashmir.
MLA Inderwal, Payare Lal Sharma, highlighted the challenges faced by his constituency, including blocked roads and extended electricity cuts, urging immediate relief measures.
The Chief Minister issued key directives, including:
Deployment of additional snow-clearing machinery in affected areas.
Rapid restoration of power supplies through active field teams.
Provision of emergency supplies to remote regions.
Following the meeting, Payare Lal Sharma said, “The people of Inderwal are facing severe hardships, but the government’s prompt action offers hope for swift relief.”
