Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti Visit Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to Extend Condolences
Srinagar, Nov 4 (TNF ): Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Ministers, Dr. Farooq Abdullah of the National Conference (NC) and Mehbooba Mufti of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) visited the residence of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq today to offer their condolences on the recent passing of Mirwaiz Mohammad Ahmad, a prominent figure and patriarch of the Mirwaiz family, who died in Islamabad, Pakistan, after a brief illness. The late Mirwaiz Mohammad Ahmad was the son of Mirwaiz Yousuf Shah, a respected religious leader and scholar.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq confirmed to TNF the visit of Dr Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti at his residence.
