Uri_Residents_Protest Against PDD Department Over Fee Hike

Uri June 24 (TNF):- Hundreds of residents in Uri protested against the Power Development Department (PDD) for hike in the monthly electricity fees over the past year. The sudden hike in the electricity fees has become unbearable for the common people,” said Muhammad Shafi, President Trade Union Uri said while addressing the protestors.
We urge the administration and higher authorities to review this unfair increase. If our demands are not met, we will have no choice but to escalate our protests,” he added according to KNS correspondent.
