was held at Police Station Gandoh.The meeting-was chaired by SHO Gandoh Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed khanday and was attended by respectable citizens including,Ex BDC chairman Gandoh ,Sanathan Dharam Sabha Gandoh ,Majlis-e-Shaura Gandoh,Ex Sarpenchs,panches ,Market associations,Transport union Gandoh ,Chowkidars, Numberdars, Media fraternity,youth and other respectables of the area.The objective of the meeting was to further strengthen the synergy between police and public with a specific view on making drugs free society.
During the meeting participants raised various issues of public importance. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, chairing officer assured them that genuine issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their immediate redressal besides issues related to Police will be resolved in shortest possible time. The Participants were stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identification of anti-national elements who try to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere.
Addressing the participants, chairing officer urged upon in strengthening the Police public relations and also cooperate in eradicating all types of crime from the society so that a peaceful and crime free atmosphere is created in the area. The officer have also appealed people to inform police about smuggling of drugs and other illegal activities if any noticed for initiating appropriate action against the offenders.
