Kishtwar: National Conference City President Kishtwar, Sh. Naseer Bagwan demands release of payments under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme to all the householders.
He said that people in town area Kishtwar have initiated the work on construction of houses but the department is not releasing their payments due to which the poor people are suffering most .
He said this is a central government scheme for poor people but locals are alleging that the department issued PMAY houses to those who have already existing buildings and are well off .
He also said that government is not implementing this scheme on ground.
He demands enquiry into the matter and said that department should release the payments to all the households as soon as possible so that the people who are waiting for construction of houses could start their work.
